Mimosa
Mimosa is the popular name for Acacia dealbata, also called silver wattle or blue wattle. This species, native to Australia, is also grown in Europe, North America and Africa, so it prefers warm growing conditions. Mimosa is a plant traditionally presented in Italy on the occasion of Women's Day. It is also popular as an ornamental tree and cut flower, and the essential oil obtained from its leaves is used in the production of perfumes.
