Scabiosa stellata
The scabiosa family includes about 80 species of this plant. They are most common in Europe, Asia and Africa, usually in meadows and grasslands, but also in rocky areas and forests. Starflower pincushions is an exceptionally ornamental variety with goblet-like flowers gathered in a spherical head.

Dried starflower pincushions are made to dry. Its natural shade goes from beige to yellow. Both the flowers and the stems can be dyed, so that in our store, dried scabiosa is available in fuchsia.
