Dipsacus – the dried thistle available in our offer comes from Polish crops. It is distinguished by large, bulbous inflorescences that have undergone a dyeing process. This gives it an interesting shade of purple. However, it is worth noting that caution should be exercised when working with this plant due to its thorny inflorescences. Its shoots are also covered with thorns. One bunch usually contains 10 branches, each about 60 cm high, ending in inflorescences of various sizes.

Thistle is a biennial plant also known as common thistle. The low water content in its inflorescences and stiff habit make it ideal for drying. As a result of this process, it retains its beautiful appearance and interesting texture. It is relatively resistant to crumbling and shedding.
