Dried red Limonium tataricum - bunch - dried flowers
Goniolimon tataricum - Limonium tataricum, commonly known as statice, is a plant with small white flowers on branched stems. It is very dense and therefore extremely efficient in floristry work. Thanks to dyeing to intense red colour, it has a uniquely decorative character and becomes an eye-catching accent in floral compositions. It works well in both fresh bouquets and dried flower arrangements, adding volume, lightness and vivid colour.
What can Tatarian statice be used for?
Statice is most often used as a filler in floral compositions and decorations such as:
- wreaths and garlands,
- bouquets,
- compositions in flower boxes and under glass domes,
- reeds.
German statice - what is worth knowing about it?
- its twigs are stiff and heavily branched,
- the flowers are white and very small,
- it has a specific smell that is natural to this plant and is usually described as unpleasant, but it becomes less intense over time.
