Dried safflower (Carthamus) - bunch - dried flowers
Carthamus tinctorius - safflower, which is also called Carthamus, is a plant from the asteraceae family. Safflower has head-shaped inflorescences with orange tubular flowers. In dried form, it is harvested before full bloom, which is why the majority of the stems have closed inflorescences. Dried safflower is great as a vase filler or addition to rustic-style bouquets.
