The circular disc in green has 19 holes in which to place the flower stems. The stand is ceramic, so you can use it for both dried flowers and cut flowers - no need to worry about contact with water. Depending on the shape and the diameter of the vase opening, the disc can be inserted into the centre of the vase or placed on top of it. Then all you have to do is arrange the floral arrangement in it. This is a great alternative to the non-organic floral foam. The ceramic disc helps to stabilise the flowers in the vase and prevents them from moving. The green colour of the round saucer blends in with the colour of the cut flower stems, so it is unobtrusive and does not tarnish the visual effect.
