Shola flower - red zinnia - stem

Shola, which is also known as Indian cork, is the wooden part of a plant called hedgehog (Latin: Aeschynomene), which is found in the intertropical zone. Shola is naturally dry and coloured red. In the Indian tradition, this exotic plant is used for handicrafts, including the creation of decorative flowers.

The shola in red is shaped like a zinnia. The flower is mounted on a wooden stick, thanks to which it can be easily placed in a bouquet or composition. The length of the stick - the stem - can be adjusted to suit your needs. Shola flowers look beautiful in bouquets, reeds, decorations under a lampshade or in flower boxes.
